In October 2025, the Council for Science and Technology (CST) wrote to the Prime Minister on the importance of climate adaptation action now to ensure the UK’s long-term resilience to changing climate.
CST made 4 recommendations for Number 10 and Cabinet Office and wrote in support of Defra’s planned work to coordinate the development of cross-government adaptation objectives.
