On 15 October 2015, the UK updated the European Council and Commission on its fiscal plans as part of the regular reporting under the Stability and Growth Pact, which sets the framework on EU member states’ debt and deficits.

The letter, which is taken from the 2015 Summer Budget, provides a summary of the UK government’s fiscal plans over the next two years as set out in the 2015 Summer Budget and the Office of Budget Responsibility’s 2015 Economic and Fiscal Outlook which are included as annexes.
