Details
The balance beams have deteriorated over the summer and they now need replacing.
The old beams will need to be removed and the new ones lifted into place. This operation will have to take place using a crane.
To ensure the safety of all staff and members of the public we need to close the lock for passage for all craft.
There will be no passage through Kings Lock between 7:30am and 5pm on Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 September 2019.
