Details

This data covers children reported to schools as adopted from care on or after 30 December 2005 according to the 2014 school census. This includes those who left care under a special guardianship order or residence order.

Children are only recorded if parents chose to declare the child’s status to the school, so numbers quoted in this report are not comparable with other figures on numbers of adopted children.
