An application has been made to the Environment Agency by K J Plant. The Environment Agency are required to give notice of this application.

The application is for a full licence to abstract water from Churchill’s Pond at National Grid Reference (NGR) SZ 39961 87014 at:

Churchill's Farm
Dodpitts Lane
Chessell
Yarmouth
Isle of Wight
PO41 0UB

The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates and periods:

  • 4 cubic metres an hour
  • 100 cubic metres a day
  • 2,300 cubic metres a year

Between 1 June and 31 July inclusive in each year.

The water will be used for spray irrigation of crops.
