The aim of JSP 403 volume 2 is to give advice on ballistic issues to those in the Ministry of Defence (MOD) and contractors who are responsible for planning, designing, constructing maintaining and inspecting small arms and infantry weapon systems ranges and 40mm weapon systems (WS) ranges.
Practical guidance on design, construction and maintenance standards of such ranges to ensure realistic but safe training in firing and the best possible use of the range space.
