Details of the application

Jonathan Boor and Linda Denise Boor trading as J and L Boor has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is to vary licence serial 5/32/11/*S/0112 which authorises the abstraction of water from Inland water (Drains) drain at Crowland at National Grid Reference TF 25587 08255 and between National Grid References (NGRs) TF 25587 08255 to TF 25177 08681 and TF 24523 08543 to TF 24974 08290.

The variation applied for is: to add abstraction reaches between NGRs TF 25256 08578 to TF 23748 06954, TF 25587 08255 to TF 26103 08033, TF 26103 08033 to TF 29461 08461, TF 29671 08461 to TF 28393 09937 and TF 28393 09937 to TF 27439 09175.

The existing quantities for the purpose of spray irrigation will remain the same:

  • 87 cubic metres an hour
  • 2,000 cubic metres a day
  • 15,000 cubic metres a year
  • between 1 April and 31 October inclusive in each year.
