This protocol is between the Youth Justice Board (YJB) and the Probation Service in England.

It should be read in conjunction with the Youth Justice Board (YJB) Case Management Guidance.

The protocol identifies the responsibilities of each organisation to work together to ensure the transition process is carried out as smoothly as possible and ensure that there is a clear understanding of the commitments made in this document.
