Details

HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) commissioned this research to track the experiences of parents and childcare providers using the Joint Childcare Service, which includes the Tax-Free Childcare and 30 hours free childcare schemes.

It is accompanied by a technical report, which explains in greater depth, the methodology, survey design and analysis.

This customer experience survey was carried out by IFF Research in 5 waves between October 2017 and January 2020, with a small qualitative follow up element. Parents took part at each wave, and childcare providers took part at waves one, three and five.
