Details of the application

Joicey Partnership has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 8 of The Water Abstraction (Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2017.

The Environment Agency has received the following abstraction licence application within the Till catchment.

The application is for a full licence to abstract water as follows:

  • at an instantaneous rate of 42.2 litres per second
  • 151 cubic metres an hour
  • 2,560 cubic metres a day
  • 23,502 cubic metres a year
  • between 1 May and 31 July inclusive in each year
  • at National Grid References (NGRs) NT9316835925 to NT 93322 38093; NT 93322 38093 to NT 91806 38574; NT 91806 38574 to N T91573 40908
  • from abstraction location Ford and Etal Farms.

The water will be used for Spray irrigation - Direct.
