Lord Johnson left his role at the Department for Business and Trade in July 2024.

Member of the Advisory Board, Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council.

Lord Johnson sought the Committee’s advice about taking up a role with the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council.  The letter containing the Committee’s consideration and the conditions imposed on the appointment was sent in August 2025; and the appointment was taken up later that month.
