Details of the application
J.B. Adams and Partners Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a variation to an existing abstraction licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for an additional abstraction point upstream of the licence holder’s existing abstraction from an unnamed tributary of the Smestow Brook at Wall Heath, Kingswinford, Staffordshire at National Grid Reference SO 88514 90582.
There is no change to the abstraction period or quantities on the existing licence MD/054/0006/042/R01. The existing abstraction point on the licence is at NGR SO 87147 90031.
The water will be used for spray irrigation.
