Summary and analysis on monteary policy developments in Japan, with no change to Japanese monetary policy this month. The H1 2014 Current Account records a deficit for the first time. June’s Current Account deficit also comes in slightly higher than forecast. The Nikkei falls almost 3% on greater geopolitical tension.
