Details of the application
J. N. Bentley Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a full licence to abstract water from the Mid-Chilterns Chalk Aquifer at National Grid Reference: SU 97751 99800.
The application is to abstract water as follows:

36 cubic metres an hour

864 cubic metres a day

105,408 cubic metres a year.

Between 01 March and 30 June inclusive, for 4 months.
The water will be used for dewatering for the purposes of construction.
