Better transport won’t just help people get around, it’ll support a greener, better connected south-west that helps people get to their place of education, improves their commute to work, and delivers a region that works for everyone.
Ongoing transport investment in the south-west is key to unlocking the region’s economy, jobs and prosperity. This includes schemes together worth more than £2 billion to improve the strategic road network, direct bus connectivity and safe and continuous cycle routes to enable easier transfer between transport modes.
