The Interministerial Group (IMG) on UK-EU Relations met on 6 March 2024 via video conference. The meeting was chaired by the Minister for Europe Leo Docherty MP.
The other attendees were:
- from the Scottish Government, Cabinet Secretary for the Constitution, External Affairs and Culture Angus Robertson MSP
- from the Welsh Government, Minister for Economy Vaughan Gething MS
- from the Northern Ireland Executive, First Minister Michelle O’Neill MLA and deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly MLA
Ministers discussed:
- the upcoming meetings of the Trade and Cooperation Agreement Partnership Council and Withdrawal Agreement Joint Committee
- the restoration of the Northern Ireland Executive
Ministers agreed to formally adopt terms of reference for the IMG.
