The Net Zero, Energy and Climate Change Interministerial Group met virtually on 26 January 2026. The meeting was chaired by the Minister for Energy Consumers, Martin McCluskey MP (UK Government).

What was discussed
The Minister for Energy Consumers provided an overview of the Warm Homes Plan. The Interministerial Group contributed reflections, following which a general discussion took place.
The Minister for Energy Consumers provided an overview of the proposed Warm Homes Agency (WHA) and an update on WHA development work to date, including next steps for devolved governments’ potential participation in the WHA. A general discussion then followed.
