The purpose of the Interministerial Group for Business and Industry is to support effective engagement and collaboration in areas of shared interest between the portfolio ministers leading on these issues within the UK administrations. These areas include:

  • business and industry policy
  • COVID-19 business planning
  • future economic recovery

The group is led by ministers from across the UK.
