We received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) for information relating to the following:

1. Risk and assessment for suicidal and mentally ill detainees held in immigration removal centres.
2. The release of suicidal and mentally ill detainees from detention centres on grounds of mental illness.
3. Assessment of whether suicidal and mentally ill immigration detainees are fit to be removed from the UK.
4. The use of removal from immigration detention centres.
5. Number of suicides in detention or removal centres in UK Jan 04- July 05.
