We have received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for the following:
I would like to request copies of all departmental memos, briefing notes, e-mails and other internal communications relating to the Gurkhas’ right to remain in Britain, created between the High Court ruling on 30 September 2008 and the present day. I would also like to request copies of all correspondence between the Home Office and the Ministry of Defence relating to the Gurkhas’ right to remain in Britain, again between the High Court ruling of 30 September 2008 and the present day.
We released the following information on 6 August 2009.
