Imports of stainless steel hot-rolled sheets and coils originating in the People’s Republic of China and Indonesia (Anti-Dumping Duty 2364)

The Commission has announced the initiation of an investigation, in the Official Journal ref. 2019/C342/09 dated 10 October 2019, concerning the subsidy of certain flat-rolled products of stainless steel, originating in the People’s Republic of China and Indonesia.

Product description:

  • stainless steel flat-rolled products
  • whether or not in coils
  • including products cut-to-length and narrow strip
  • not further worked than hot-rolled

This investigation could result in countervailing duty being imposed at a future date.

The investigation takes effect from 10 October 2019.

Interested parties wishing to make submission or requests to be heard, within the short timescales, should refer to the Commission’s notice, for instructions.

Interested parties may request in writing, within 4 months of the publication of this notice, information on the imposition of provisional measures.

Provisional measures may be imposed no later than 9 months from the publication date.

The Commission will provide information on any planned provisional duties 3 weeks before their imposition.

This investigation will be concluded no later than 13 months from the publication date.
