Imposing provisional countervailing duty on imports of certain biodiesel, from Indonesia.
The Commission has published Implementing Regulation 2019/1344, OJ ref L212 imposing provisional countervailing duty on imports of Indonesian origin of:
- fatty-acid mono-alkyl esters and paraffinic gasoils obtained from synthesis
- fatty-acid mono-alkyl esters and paraffinic gasoils obtained from hydro treatment
- of non-fossil origin
- in pure form or included in a blend
This regulation takes effect from 14 August 2019.

The provisional countervailing duty rates on the net free-at-union-frontier price before duty are as follows:

The release for free circulation in the Union of the product concerned will be subject to the provision of a security deposit equivalent to the amount of the provisional duty.
The provisional duty will apply for 4 months.
