Renewal of the TAPAS gate Sealing Certificate in TAPAS CONF
HMRC have been notified about the renewal of the TAXUD Access Point for AS4 (TAPAS) gate Sealing Certificate in TAPAS CONF, the Import Control System 2 (ICS2) testing service.
The renewal of this certificate is scheduled for Monday 20 April 2026 from 9am.
A full chain of certificates can be found and downloaded from the Communication and Information Resource Centre for Administrations, Businesses and Citizens (CIRCABC) website, EU Advance Cargo Information System (ICS2) in the following publicly available folder: TAPAS ICS2 AS4 Sealing & Signing Certificates on the CIRCABC website.
The Conformance Certificate (new2026_CONF_TAPAS_ICS2_AS4_Signing.zip) should be downloaded and installed as soon as possible.
Once the renewal certificate is installed, make sure you verify this and can successfully exchange messages in Conformance. TAPAS will begin sending messages with the new certificate on Monday 20 April 2026.
The live Import Control System 2 service will be available during this time.
