This ‘Properties above tunnels’ decision document forms part of the final outcome of the HS2 Phase One property compensation 2012 consultation. It explains our approach to the purchase of subsoil rights and outlines measures by which we intend to maintain confidence in the value of properties situated above tunnels and other below-ground excavations along the HS2 Phase One route.
