The Equality Impact Assessment Scope and Methodology Report (EQIA SMR) outlines:

  • the issues addressed by the EQIA;
  • the types of equality effects and the criteria used in assessing them;
  • the geographical coverage of the assessment (i.e. the spatial scope); and
  • the periods in time which the issues are assessed for (i.e. the temporal scope) during construction and operation.

The report is a technical document that outlines the approach to be taken to the assessment in the EQIA. The EQIA SMR does not include assessment findings.
