Details
You need to complete a Land Transfer and Amendment (LTA1) form if you want to:
- transfer land from your Environmental Stewardship (ES) agreement to a new owner, where the new owner intends to continue the agreement
- take over land from someone else’s existing ES agreement if the agreement is continuing
You’ll need to receive written approval from us before you make any of your proposed changes, as these aren’t automatically accepted.
Your form is specific to your agreement. You only need to complete the sections which apply to the changes that you want to make.
When you return your form, include all supporting documents. This will help us make a decision on your agreement quickly.
If you need further help completing the form after reading this guidance, please contact the Rural Payments Agency (RPA).
