FOI release 28836

  1. Fujitsu is the supplier via IT2000 contract for the 2MS site wi-fi (Contract 1). At the Metro Point site it is Virgin Media Business (Contract 2).
  2. Actual spend for both contracts can be found below. * Contract 1: For the 2MS site, annual service spends by years (only fully integrated 2012-13 contract year): * 2012-13: £73,298 * 2013-14: £85,844 * 2014-15: £85,549 * Additional spend in year 2012-13 of £102,668.50 Project Charge and £162,276.91 Initial Service Charge. * Contract 2: For the Metro Point site the first year spend is expected to be £30,059
  3. Contract 1 - 200 concurrent users limitation on the service, Contract 2 – approximately 60 HO issued laptop users based on site
  4. Both contracts are managed
  5. 2 locations, 1 provider for each location
  6. Both WIFI services are currently configured to only work with Home Office issued laptops providing unlimited access to Home Office services.
  7. Contract 1: IT2000 contract covers Desktop Managed Services, Application Managed Services, Networks, Unified Function and Telephony, Contract 2: Provision of a 100Mb Managed Internet Access (MIA) router to provide access onto the internet
  8. Contract 1: Re-negotiated contract began Oct 2009, Contract 2: August 2013
  9. Contract 1: Expiry date Jan 2016, Contract 2: Expiry date May 2014
