This report sets out the progress made by the Home Office against its Public Service Agreement targets, as agreed in the 2002 Spending Review. Of the ten PSA targets, the Home Office is ahead of planned progress in relation to the target for crime reduction and reducing the fear of crime; and is on course to achieve seven targets including improving police performance, reducing reoffending behaviour and addressing problems in the asylum system.

This Command Paper was laid before Parliament by a Government Minister by Command of Her Majesty. Command Papers are considered by the Government to be of interest to Parliament but are not required to be presented by legislation.
