Explanatory notes on senior staff salary reports
The report on senior staff salaries lists all staff at director level and above holding senior civil servant equivalent posts as at 30 June 2010. It includes job title, grade, organisation and salary band.
Directors had the option to withhold their name from publication and so names are included for those who consented. The following staff are excluded:
- staff at pay band 1 and pay band 1A where they are at deputy director or equivalent level or below
Explanatory notes on organograms
We have published organograms to show the size and structure of Home Office sponsored NDPBs as at 30 June 2010.
For each of our public bodies there is a chart showing the names, job titles and grades of senior staff working in the body, as well as the number of staff who report to them. Please note, members of the senior staff had the option to withhold their name from the publication.
Additional information is also available as spreadsheets of reusable data. These include the name, grade, job title and the total salary cost of staff reporting to senior staff holding senior civil servant equivalent posts. We publish data in this way so that experts can process it as they wish.
The organograms and datasets identify all posts, whether or not they are vacant. The following staff are excluded:
- staff on loan or secondment out of the body (regardless of funding arrangement)
- staff numbers are expressed as full-time equivalents (that is, 0.5FTE = 2.5 days per week)
