  1. The Home Office Administrative Officer Inner London Minimum salary range in October 2012 was £16,518 and the Maximum salary range in October 2012 was £18,657.

  2. The Home Office Administrative Officer Inner London pay award granted in 2013 was made up of the following details:

  • Consolidation of all existing London allowances into new London pay ranges.

  • Movement to a single rate of pay (known as a “spot rate”) for AOs whose salary is currently below this level on 30 June 2013.

  • An additional 0.5% increase for all staff who have received a satisfactory marking in their 2012/13 PDR from 1 July 2013.

  • A further increase to spot rates from 30 June 2014.

  • Staff whose performance is assessed as unsatisfactory will not receive the pay award due on 1 July 2013. They will receive no further increase until their performance is formally assessed as satisfactory; this includes the increase to the 30 June 2014 rate.

  • Staff without contractual pay progression will be moved to the new spot rates on 30 June 2013 and then to the 1 July 2013 spot rate unless their performance has been formally assessed as unsatisfactory.

  • Staff without contractual pay progression already at or within 0.5% of the 30 June 2013 spot rate (as of the 30 June 2013) will be moved to the 30 June 2014 spot rate on the 30 June 2013 unless their performance has been formally assessed as unsatisfactory.

3.Home Office Administrative Officer Inner London received a consolidated increase of 0.75% plus a non-consolidated payment of 0.25% to give a total award of 1% in July 2014.
