Hochtief (UK) Construction: application made to abstract (take) water

Hochtief (UK) Construction has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application (in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a full licence to abstract water from the River Loddon and associated tributary at Shinfield, Reading, Berkshire, RG2 9BP at National Grid References SU 74051 67856 and SU 74329 67799.
The application is to abstract water as follows:
- 6 cubic metres an hour
- 60 cubic metres a day
- 12,000 cubic metres a year
For all year abstraction up to 17th April 2016.
The water will be used for dust suppression.
