HMRC commissioned His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire and Rescue Services (HMICFRS) to produce a report into our defences against insider risk.

We are grateful for their work and have acted on their recommendations: we’re confident that 20 of the 22 have been substantially completed, and work is underway on a pragmatic and proportionate response to the remaining 2.
