This is the second HMRC Departmental Improvement Plan. It assesses the performance of the department against the improvement activities we outlined in our 2013 plan.

The plan is based on 5 themes:

  • performance
  • innovation
  • capability
  • planned risk
  • change management

It sets out:

  • what we have achieved so far
  • our aims
  • the actions that we will take to get there
