This strategy document sets out how Highways England will deliver £150 million of investment on improving England’s major roads through innovation by 2021. This forms part of the government’s £15 billion Road Investment Strategy.

The strategy highlights planned projects that will trial or investigate new technologies and opportunities to further improve safety and tackle congestion on our roads.
