The criteria is used by the Department for Education to assess submitted level 4 and 5 qualifications for approval and for the award of the higher technical qualifications (HTQ) quality mark.
The terms and conditions explain the requirements for applying for and maintaining HTQ approval, including:
- the use of the quality mark
- ongoing compliance obligations
- qualification reviews
- changes to approved qualifications
