Details
In response to proposals by petitioners in the Chilterns, and in response to petitions against the High Speed Rail (London – West Midlands) Bill, a number of options for a tunnel or tunnel extension in the Chilterns have been evaluated by High Speed Two (HS2) Ltd.
General requirements for long tunnels are set out in Part 1, and the assessment of various options proposed by Petitioners are set out in Part 2 - 4. Part 3 has been updated as of June 2016.
