The Dialogue opened with a bilateral meeting between African Union Commission Chairperson Moussa Faki Mahamat, and UK Minister for State for Development and Africa, Andrew Mitchell. They spoke about UK engagement with Africa, the UK’s cooperation with the African Union, and the multilateral system, including the African Union’s admission as a permanent member of the G20.
