This document sets out Healthcare UK’s activities and performance for the period 1st April 2015 to 31st March 2016.

It covers:

  • our purpose and objectives
  • performance against each objective
  • a review of our priority markets, including China, India, Brazil and Latin America, the Middle East and Turkey
  • examples of UK organisations which have had success in these countries during the year

Healthcare UK is a joint initiative of the Department of Health, UK Trade and Investment and NHS England. We help UK healthcare providers to do more business overseas. We do this by promoting the UK healthcare sector to overseas markets and supporting healthcare partnerships between the UK and overseas healthcare providers. We work with the NHS to strengthen its capacity to operate and succeed internationally.
