Ham Hydro has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is for a licence to obstruct or impede the flow of the River Thames at Teddington Weir, Teddington at National Grid Reference TQ 16998 71362.

The existing weir structure will be altered to install 3 Archimedean screw turbines. The alteration works are to enable power production.
