Details

This page provides guidance for Civil Servants who are transferring to another Civil Service organisation, including arm’s length bodies (ALBs) and non-departmental public bodies (NDPBs). This process is commonly known as the other government departments (OGD) transfer process or staff transfers within the Civil Service.

The Security Checks Information Form should be completed by the employee who is changing jobs, then used by their new manager to contact their security vetting authority.

The Civil Service Employee Transfer form should be completed by the employee, then sent to their current line manager to complete when they are moving to a new job in a new department.
