This document is a report on the government’s progress in implementing the Grenfell Tower Inquiry’s Phase 2 recommendations up to September 2026. It also updates on Phase 1 recommendations related to Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs).
The recommendations are grouped thematically using the same themes of the Inquiry:
- the construction industry
- fire and rescue services
- response and recovery
- vulnerable people and Phase 1 recommendations
In 2026, the government intends to publish a further progress report in December.
