This command paper sets out the government’s response to the Health and Social Care Committee’s report following their inquiry into Brexit: medicines, medical devices and substances of human origin.

The committee published their report on 21 March 2018.

This response was prepared by the Department of Health and Social Care, in collaboration with other government departments and agencies including:

  • the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency
  • the Office for Life Sciences
  • the Intellectual Property Office
  • the Department for Exiting the European Union
