The House of Commons Home Affairs Committee sub-committee on counter-terrorism published the report of its inquiry ‘CONTEST: government’s counter-terrorism strategy’ on 7 July 2009.
The inquiry focused in particular on:
- the UK’s overall approach to counter-terrorism, the machinery of government and the CONTEST strategy itself
- transport infrastructure
- the 2012 Olympics
