The guidance for officials giving evidence to Parliamentary Select Committees, known as the Osmotherly Rules was updated on 17 October 2014. As part of this update government is committed to publishing lists of the SROs for projects on the GMPP.
To address this commitment the Infrastructure and Projects Authority (IPA) publishes lists of the SROs responsible for government major projects. This data was previously published by the Major Projects Authority, which merged with Infrastructure UK on 1 January 2016 to form the IPA.
This aims to improve transparency and accountability for the government’s major projects.
