Details

The Government Buying Standards (GBS) are a set of sustainable specifications for a range of commonly purchased products. They are designed to make it easier for government departments to buy sustainably.

The standards have been endorsed by the government and all central government departments and their related organisations must ensure they meet the minimum mandatory specifications when buying appropriate products and services.
