Gordon Easton, Roger Philip Easton and Sarah Elizabeth Easton, trading as G R & P Easton have applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application (in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006).

The application is for a full licence to abstract water from Moreton’s Leam and 3 unnamed drains at Whittlesey, between National Grid References TL 28690 98817 to TL 28922 98941, TL 28922 98941 to TL 28285 98897, TL 28285 98897 to TL 28282 98718, and TL 28282 98718 to TL 28048 98297.

The application is to abstract water as follows:

  • 91 cubic metres an hour

  • 1,308 cubic metres a day

  • 6,168 cubic metres a year

Between 1 April and 31 October inclusive in each year.

The water will be used for spray irrigation. Further details are that the applicant has requested to aggregate the above proposed quantities to the quantities on their existing licence AN/033/0053/116.
