Guidance for bidders on a £35 million scheme to help cities increase the local uptake of ultra low emission vehicles.
This scheme is an opportunity for cities to cultivate a regional, national and international reputation for their uptake of ultra low emission vehicles (ULEVs).
The positive consequences of each bid should include:
- improved local air quality
- reduction in carbon emissions
- creation of ULEV-related growth opportunities for businesses both in the local area and beyond
The scheme will be run as a competition, with up to £35 million made available for 2 to 4 cities to win through bidding process.
