Details of the application

George Richard Moule has applied to the Environment Agency to vary a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 8 of The Water Abstraction (Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2017.

The Environment Agency has received the following abstraction licence variation application within the Severn Corridor catchment.

The application is to vary a full licence to abstract water as follows:

  • at an instantaneous rate of 7.5 litres per second
  • 8 cubic metres an hour
  • 97 cubic metres a day
  • 1,172 cubic metres a year
  • between 01 March and 31 October inclusive in each year
  • at National Grid Reference (NGR) SO 83900 70070
  • from abstraction location underground strata comprising sandstone at Millridge Farm, Waresley, Worcestershire.

The water will be used for trickle irrigation.
