Register with HM Revenue and Customs as a lottery promoter using form BD601.
Please read Excise Notice 458: Lottery Duty before completing the form.
To register as a lottery promoter (but not as an agent):
Partnerships or corporate bodies that apply will need to provide details of their partners and directors.
If you hold a promoter’s license under section 5 of the National Lottery Act 1993, you should upload a copy of this as an attachment to the form.
You’ll get a reference number if you use the online form. Use this to track the progress of your form.
If you’re using an older browser, for example, Internet Explorer 8, you’ll need to update it or use a different browser. Find out more about browsers.
You’ll need to fill in the form fully before you can print it. You can’t save a partly completed form so gather all your information together before you start to fill it in.
