Details of the application

FWSC (Ladram) Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is for a full licence to abstract water from underground strata consisting of Otter Valley Sandstone at National Grid Reference SY 09320 85560 located at Ladram Bay Holiday Park, Otterton, Devon.

The application is to abstract water as follows:

  • 8 cubic metres an hour
  • 200 cubic metres a day
  • 45,000 cubic metres a year
  • between 01 April and 31 March inclusive in each year.

The water will be used to supply the needs of the holiday park. The application has been made after the previous licence expired.
